Harvest Classic
Alpaca Sale October 18th 2008 in Beautiful Madras Oregon! |
Who: YOU! Please Join us. All Are welcome to join us. Buy and sell quality
alpacas or just come for the FUN and Festivities.
Sale is managed by Cascade Sales. We are Meggan and Jacob Mumford. Our
family has been involved with farming and ranching for many years, and South
American Camelids for 28 years and 4 generations! Our Auctioneer is Jake
Fallason of the Falleson Auction Network. Cascade Sale Management Staff also
includes Danielle Casper and Kyle Mumford.
What: The 1st ever Harvest Classic Alpaca Sale!
Where: The Jefferson County Fairgrounds in beautiful Madras, Oregon. A Scenic 2 hour drive from the Portland International Airport.
When: October 18th 2008.
Why: Because the west coast alpaca industry needs a quality down-to-earth
outlet to buy and sell alpacas with Reasonable consignment fees!
As the US Alpaca herd continues to grow exponentially the business is becoming
more competitive by the day. This fact paired with higher fuel costs will likely
soon make the alpaca industry more fragmented and regionalized.
NOW is the time to embrace more smaller progressive alpaca sales across the country. With the high quality of alpacas that reside in the west it makes sense to have a Auction event here in Oregon!
This is your opportunity to be on the cutting edge of a new era in the alpaca business!

Cascade Harvest Classic
Alpaca Auction Dear Alpaca owners and breeders, We are pleased to announce the first ever Cascade Harvest Classic Alpaca Auction to be held on October 18th in scenic Madras Oregon! After our May Auction we were overwhelmed by the kind words that we received from Alpaca owners from around the country. There seems to be a call for a “back to basics” alpaca auction where the Alpaca Auction can be center-stage and where alpaca breeders can sell their production, as well as purchase valuable new genetics! We are extremely proud to be on the cutting edge and to be answering the call and hosting these very special Auction events! We hope this will be the 2nd of many special events that Cascade Llama Sales will be hosting for the Alpaca Industry! I have shared my entire life, since I was 3 years old, around llamas and alpacas! I am passionate about South American camelids and am so pleased to be raising my own 2 year old daughter around llamas and alpacas and around camelid breeders from around the world who come to our events! For this special fall sale we have eliminated most of
the frills found at other sales to bring you our most reasonable entry fees
yet! This is the first sale which we are brining you a “sliding scale” entry
where you can pick the level or participation and fees that are right for
you! Choose which entry tier works best for you from the list below (more
details can be found on the animal entry page): We strive to have THE MOST reasonable fees, while still putting on a quality event! The bulk of your consignment fee will go to the most important event expense which is the catalog which we will send to many active West Coast Alpaca Breeders, and to those who request one in response to our advertising. We hope that you will take the time to review the information provided in this packet and also visit the Cascade Llama Sale website which is www.llamaalpacaauction.com. If you have the need to sell some alpacas, we ask that you consider our sale! If you should have any questions please feel free to call me between 9:AM and 9:PM Pacific time at (360) 901-1073. Sincerely, Jacob Mumford PS: ALL premium and select entries will be entered in a SPECIAL contest to have their animal featured on the BACK COVER of the CATALOG, a $1000 value! This special contest will be judged by a photography professional. |
