Thanks to all who participated in another successful West Coast Llama SALE!
On May 3rd top llama breeders from all over the US and Canada gathered in the Beautiful Columbia George National Scenic Area for the 2nd annual Cascade Llama Sale. The Sale saw active bidding and in the end 88 top quality llamas sold to ranches as far away as Connecticut, Ohio, Arizona, and all over Western Canada. Similar to the first Cascade Sale this year's sale offered the discriminating buyer high quality and great diversity across the board with many high end suris, silkies, ALSA and Futurity top tens, Peruvians, Chileans, Bolivians, Rebano/Argentines, and much more!
The sale again met its goals of introducing NEW people to the wonderful world of Llamas - much needed "new blood" for the industry! The Sale also gave breeders the tremendous opportunity to network with fellow breeders and acquire new bloodlines and new types of animals.
I know I speak for many by saying that not only are we honored by the support of our purchasers on our sale lots, but we are also just thrilled with the quality animals that the event gave us the opportunity to purchase!
Based on the feedback I have gotten after the sale most sellers agreed with me that the sale was a fair representation of the current West Coast Llama Market and it was a quality, well ran event! A good time was had by all and we hope to work hard starting NOW to improve and make changes for next year.
